Trial tests new tool to stop dangerous brain bleeds
NCT ID NCT07324551
Summary
This study is testing a new, specially designed catheter and wire during a procedure to stop chronic bleeding around the brain. Researchers want to see if these new devices work better or faster than the tools surgeons normally choose. About 100 adults with a specific type of brain bleed will be randomly assigned to get the new devices or the surgeon's preferred ones. The main goals are to see if the new devices shorten the procedure time, improve the result, and are safe.
