Breakthrough cell therapy trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

Summary

This Phase 3 trial is testing whether a new, advanced cell therapy called AZD0120 works better than current standard drug combinations for people with multiple myeloma that has come back after treatment. The therapy involves modifying a patient's own immune cells to attack two specific targets on the cancer cells. The study will enroll 508 adults to compare how long the cancer stays in remission and how many patients achieve deep, undetectable responses.
