Scientists test new Two-Pronged attack on tough blood cancers

Summary
This is a small, early-stage study for adults with B-cell leukemia or lymphoma that has come back or not responded to other treatments. The goal is to test the safety of a new two-step approach. First, patients receive a targeted radioactive drug (131-I apamistamab), followed by an infusion of their own genetically modified immune cells (CAR T-cells). Researchers want to find the safest and most effective dose of the initial radioactive drug.
