Doctors test new 'Lattice' radiation approach to shrink tough throat tumors

NCT ID NCT07428148

Summary

This study is testing a new, personalized treatment plan for people with advanced throat cancer. It combines a special type of radiation (lattice radiotherapy) with chemotherapy and immunotherapy as a first step to shrink the tumor. Based on how much the tumor shrinks, doctors will then choose the best follow-up radiation treatment for each patient.
