First human trial begins for new cancer pill targeting advanced tumors

Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new oral pill called NKT5097 for adults with advanced or metastatic solid tumors, with a focus on certain breast, ovarian, and uterine cancers. The main goals are to find a safe dose and understand the side effects. Researchers will also look for early signs that the pill might help control the cancer.
