New 'Tumor-Hunting' scan could pinpoint cancers earlier
NCT ID NCT06977945
Summary
This study is testing a new imaging method called FL-091 to see if it can better detect and determine the stage of certain cancers. It involves injecting a small amount of a radioactive tracer that seeks out a specific protein found on many cancer cells. Researchers will scan 100 adult patients with suspected or confirmed cancers (like colon, pancreatic, or head/neck) to see how well the tracer highlights tumors compared to normal tissue.
