Novartis tests 'Smart Bomb' radiation therapy against four deadly cancers
NCT ID NCT06562192
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new radioactive drug called [177Lu]Lu-NNS309 in patients with advanced pancreatic, lung, breast, or colorectal cancers that have stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will first use a special imaging scan to see if patients' tumors absorb the drug, then test different doses to find the safest and most effective amount. The main goal is to understand the drug's safety and how it moves through the body, while also looking for early signs that it might help control cancer growth.
