Breakthrough cancer drug targets genetic weakness in tumors

Summary

This early-stage clinical trial is testing a new cancer drug called BAY 3713372 in people with advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic change called MTAP deletion. Researchers want to find the safest dose, understand how the body processes the drug, and see if it can shrink tumors. The study will enroll 370 adults who have tried other treatments, starting with small groups to find the right dose before expanding to more participants.
