Scientists test 'Smart Bomb' drug to fight tough head and neck cancers

NCT ID NCT07408063

Summary

This study is testing a new type of targeted cancer drug, GSK5764227, for people with advanced head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. The drug works like a 'smart bomb' that seeks out cancer cells and delivers a chemotherapy agent directly to them. Researchers will give the drug alone to some patients and combined with another immunotherapy drug to others, to see how well it works and to learn what biological markers predict a good response.
