New cancer drug enters human testing for advanced tumors

Summary
This is an early-stage study to test the safety and side effects of a new drug called MK-0472 for people with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Researchers will give the drug alone and in combination with other cancer therapies to about 178 participants. The main goal is to find a safe dose and understand how the body processes the drug.
