Gentler C-Section method aims to protect mothers during repeat surgery
NCT ID NCT04968340
Summary
This study tested a new way to deliver a baby's head during a repeat C-section. The goal was to see if a gentler, hands-off technique could reduce tearing of the uterus, lower blood loss, and prevent bladder injury compared to the standard method. It involved 600 women having a planned, repeat C-section with a single, full-term baby in the head-down position.
