Gentler breathing help for tiniest babies?
NCT ID NCT03171129
Summary
This study is testing a new type of nasal breathing device for premature babies who are struggling to breathe. It will compare this new device, which controls air pressure, to the standard high-flow oxygen tubes currently used. The goal is to see if the new device is a safe and practical option that might help babies need oxygen for a shorter time and cause fewer skin problems.
