New scan aims to spot hidden breast cancer spread
NCT ID NCT07285993
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan (called FAPI) to see if it can find more cancer spread in patients with metastatic lobular breast cancer than the standard FDG PET scan. Fifteen patients will receive both scans within two weeks so doctors can compare the results. The goal is to see if the new scan provides better information to help guide treatment decisions.
