New hope pill targets tough breast cancers

Summary
This study is testing a new oral medication called PMD-026 for people with advanced breast cancer that has spread or can't be surgically removed. The research aims to determine if the drug is safe and tolerable, both alone and when combined with another cancer medication called fulvestrant. The trial is specifically for patients whose cancer has continued to grow despite previous hormone-based treatments.
