New hope for Tough-to-Treat breast cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called GDC-0587, both alone and combined with another cancer drug, for people with advanced breast cancer. It is specifically for patients whose cancer has continued to grow despite treatment with a common class of drugs called CDK4/6 inhibitors. The main goals are to find safe doses and see how the body processes the drug.
