New device aims to give brain surgeons instant tumor diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07254845

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging device called cCeLL that helps surgeons see brain tumor tissue in real-time during surgery. It will be used on 30 adult patients undergoing brain tumor removal and compared to the current standard method (frozen section analysis). The goal is to see if this new device can provide accurate, immediate information about tumor tissue without slowing down the surgical process.
