Flexible brain grids aim to sharpen epilepsy surgery
NCT ID NCT06205160
Summary
This study is testing a new type of flexible, high-density electrode grid used to map the brain during epilepsy surgery. The goal is to see if these new electrodes perform as well as or better than the standard ones at recording brain signals and identifying areas that cause seizures. Up to 12 adults with focal epilepsy will have both the new and standard electrodes placed during their surgery for comparison.
