Summary

This study tests a new high-density microelectrode designed to record activity from individual brain cells in people with Parkinson's disease undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery. The goal is to see if this new electrode works better than standard ones and is safe. Ten adults will take part, and the study focuses on measuring nerve signals and checking for any damage to the electrode.
