Sound waves target brain tumors in new trial
NCT ID NCT07076472
Summary
This early study is testing a new, non-invasive treatment for glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain cancer that has returned or worsened. The treatment combines a special drug with focused ultrasound waves, guided by an MRI machine, to try to kill cancer cells without surgery. The main goals are to find the safest dose and see if this approach is effective for patients whose cancer has come back.
