New pulsed radiation offers hope for brain cancer patients to live longer, think clearer

NCT ID NCT07452458

Summary

This study is for adults newly diagnosed with a specific, aggressive type of brain tumor called MGMT-unmethylated glioblastoma. It compares a new way of delivering radiation, called Temporally-Modulated Pulsed Radiation Therapy (TMPRT), against the current standard radiation. Both groups also receive the same chemotherapy drug. The main goals are to see if the new TMPRT method helps patients live longer and preserves their memory and thinking abilities better than standard treatment.
