New bladder pain relief treatment enters Mid-Stage testing
NCT ID NCT05737121
Summary
This study is testing a single-dose bladder treatment called VNX001 to see if it can safely reduce sudden, moderate-to-severe bladder pain in people with interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome. About 120 participants will receive either VNX001, a placebo (inactive solution), or one of its individual ingredients. The main goal is to measure how much the treatment reduces pain over 12 hours compared to before receiving it.
