New hope for tough bladder cancers: trial tests drug to extend life

Summary

This study is for people with advanced bladder cancer that has continued to grow despite previous treatments. Researchers want to see if a new drug called sacituzumab tirumotecan helps patients live longer compared to standard non-platinum chemotherapy options. About 590 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or one of the standard chemotherapy treatments.
