First human trial tests new bladder cancer drug delivery

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new drug called 2141-V11 for people with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer that hasn't responded to standard BCG therapy and who are not having their bladder surgically removed. Researchers will give the drug directly into the bladder through a catheter to find the safest dose and see how the body processes it. This is the first time this specific drug and delivery method are being tested in people.
