Shoulder birth control? study tests new implant spot

Summary
This study is testing if placing a birth control implant in a new spot on the shoulder blade works as well as the usual location. Researchers will follow 62 healthy women for at least two years to measure the drug levels in their blood and track any side effects. The goal is to see if this alternative site is a safe and effective option for long-term contraception.
