Gel injection tested as potential fix for Worn-Out spinal discs
NCT ID NCT04984629
Summary
This study tested a new gel implant system for people with long-term lower back pain caused by worn-out spinal discs. It involved 35 adults whose pain hadn't improved after at least six months of standard treatments like medication or physical therapy. The main goals were to see if the implant procedure was safe and if it helped reduce pain and improve function over time.
