New Hands-On technique tested for back pain relief

NCT ID NCT07203560

Summary

This study tested whether adding a specific hands-on nerve and tissue stretching technique (neurodynamic mobilization) to standard heat and electrical therapy could better help people with a slipped disc in their lower back. It involved 40 adults with long-term back pain from a confirmed slipped disc. Researchers compared the new combination therapy to standard therapy alone to see which was better at reducing pain and improving movement and daily function.
