Major trial tests hopeful new treatment for debilitating spinal arthritis

NCT ID NCT07261644

Summary

This study is testing whether an experimental drug called 608 can reduce disease activity and improve symptoms in adults with active ankylosing spondylitis, a painful inflammatory spinal condition. It will compare 608 against a placebo in 500 participants over 60 weeks to see if it's effective and safe. The trial is for adults whose symptoms aren't adequately controlled by common anti-inflammatory medications.
