New device aims to simplify risky aortic surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new surgical device called Rapidlink. It is designed to help surgeons repair or replace the main arteries branching off the aortic arch during major open-heart surgery for aortic disease. The goal is to see if this device makes the complex procedure safer, faster, and more effective for up to 150 patients, both in planned and emergency surgeries.
