Summary

This completed Phase 3 study tested whether a new drug called HSK3486 works as well as the standard drug propofol for putting adults to sleep before planned surgery. Researchers compared how effectively each drug induced anesthesia and monitored side effects like injection pain. The trial involved 255 adults having non-emergency operations lasting at least an hour.
