New hope for blood cancer patients: trial tests gentler treatment against harsh chemo
NCT ID NCT07425808
Summary
This trial is testing whether a new combination of three targeted drugs works better than the standard, more intensive chemotherapy for adults newly diagnosed with a specific genetic type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The study will involve about 230 patients who are healthy enough for strong chemotherapy. Researchers will compare how well patients respond and how long they live on the two different treatment plans.
