Major trial aims to boost remission rates for seniors with aggressive blood cancer
NCT ID NCT07469046
Summary
This large Phase 3 trial will test whether adding a third drug (homoharringtonine) to a standard two-drug leukemia treatment works better for older adults. It will enroll 308 newly diagnosed patients aged 60-75 with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The main goal is to see if the three-drug combination leads to more patients achieving remission compared to the standard two-drug regimen.
