Summary

This study is testing whether a new combination of targeted and chemotherapy drugs works better and is safer than the standard chemotherapy for older adults newly diagnosed with a serious blood cancer called acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It will involve 120 fit patients aged 60-75. The goal is to help more patients achieve remission, reduce side effects, and help them live longer.
