New hope for older adults with Tough-to-Treat leukemia

Summary

This study is testing a new three-drug combination for adults with a specific type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are too old or frail for standard intensive chemotherapy. The goal is to see if adding a drug called tagraxofusp to two existing drugs (venetoclax and azacitidine) can help control the disease. Researchers will first find the best dose and then see how well it works in about 83 participants.
