New hope for older leukemia patients who Can't handle harsh chemo
NCT ID NCT07172204
Summary
This study is testing whether alternating two different drug combinations can better control acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in older adults or those with other health problems who cannot tolerate standard intensive chemotherapy. The treatment involves four cycles of alternating drug regimens followed by maintenance therapy, with researchers measuring how well it clears cancer cells from the blood. The goal is to provide better disease control for this vulnerable patient population.
