New hope for Tough-to-Treat leukemia: experimental pill joins fight

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new oral drug, SNDX-5613, when given alongside standard chemotherapy for adults newly diagnosed with specific genetic types of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The main goals are to find the safest and most effective dose of the new combination and to see what side effects it causes. Researchers hope adding this pill to chemo will help control the cancer better than chemo alone.
