New hope for Tough-to-Treat leukemia: experimental drug combo enters human testing
NCT ID NCT03983824
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new oral drug called M3814 in combination with a standard chemotherapy regimen (MEC) for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to prior treatment. The main goals are to find the safest and most effective dose of the new combination and to understand its side effects. Researchers hope this combination will better control the leukemia by blocking enzymes cancer cells need to grow.
