New hope for kids with Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT04915612

Summary

This study tested a new combination of three cancer drugs for children and young adults whose acute myeloid leukemia has returned or not responded to previous treatments. The main goal was to find the safest dose and understand the side effects of combining these medications. Researchers also wanted to see if this combination could help control the cancer and prepare patients for a possible bone marrow transplant.
