Tiny radiation seeds target tough head and neck cancers
NCT ID NCT05047094
Summary
This study is testing a new combination treatment for people with advanced head and neck cancer that has come back or spread. Doctors will place tiny, temporary radioactive seeds directly into the tumor to deliver a high dose of radiation, while patients also receive a standard immunotherapy drug. The goal is to see if this two-part approach can better control the cancer and improve survival for patients with limited treatment options.
