Experimental drug cocktail aims to tame rare protein disease
NCT ID NCT07224672
Summary
This study is testing a new four-drug combination for adults recently diagnosed with AL amyloidosis, a rare disease where abnormal proteins damage organs. It is for people who are not candidates for a stem cell transplant. Researchers want to see if adding a new drug called belantamab mafodotin to three existing drugs is safe and can better control the disease.
