NCT ID NCT06815939

First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, low-cost screening method for cervical cancer that uses artificial intelligence to analyze digital images of the cervix. The goal is to see if this AI tool, called Automated Visual Evaluation (AVE), can accurately detect precancerous changes without needing a lab or expensive equipment. The study will involve 10,000 women aged 30-59 and compare the AI's results to standard screening methods. If successful, this could make cervical cancer screening more accessible in low-resource settings.
