First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests a new catheter that uses a combination of pulsed field and radiofrequency energy to destroy the small areas of heart tissue causing ventricular tachycardia (a fast, dangerous heart rhythm). About 30 adults with recurrent VT will receive this ablation procedure. The goal is to see if the new technology can safely eliminate all problem rhythms during the procedure and prevent them from coming back for at least 6 months.
