Mayo clinic tests 3D ultrasound to spot breast cancer better
NCT ID NCT04692818
Summary
This study is testing a new 3D ultrasound imaging method to see if it can improve the diagnosis of breast masses. Researchers will enroll 125 adult women who have a solid breast lesion and are scheduled for a biopsy. They will compare the new 3D images to standard 2D ultrasound images to see which is more accurate at classifying the mass.
