NCT ID NCT07320950
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether neurotropin, a drug that may protect nerves, can reduce the painful nerve damage caused by oxaliplatin chemotherapy in people with stage II or III colorectal cancer. The trial involved 333 participants who had recently had surgery and were about to start chemotherapy. Researchers compared neurotropin to a placebo to see if it could lower the risk of severe nerve problems and help patients complete their full course of chemo.
