Brain-Computer implant offers new hope for paralyzed hands

NCT ID NCT05863754

Summary

This study is testing a small, implanted device called a neuroprosthesis to help restore hand and arm movement for people with cervical spinal cord injuries. The device stimulates nerves to activate paralyzed muscles, allowing participants to perform tasks like picking up and releasing objects. Researchers will measure improvements in hand strength, daily living activities, and independence.
