First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested two different leg exercises in 102 people with severe COPD: one group used a bike, the other used mild electrical pulses to stimulate their thigh muscles. The goal was to see which method better improved leg strength and daily function during a 3-4 week hospital rehab program. Results help doctors choose the best exercise for patients who have trouble with regular workouts.
