Ear zap eases heart failure symptoms in new study

This study tested a new approach for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), a condition where the heart pumps well but doesn't relax properly. Researchers used a mild electrical stimulation on the ear (like a nerve pacemaker) for one hour daily over three months to see if it could reduce inflammation and improve heart function and exercise ability. The study involved 52 adults with HFpEF and aimed to see if this safe, non-drug method could offer relief where current treatments fall short.
