First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why some cancer patients develop neurological problems after receiving immunotherapy drugs called immune checkpoint inhibitors. Researchers will analyze spinal fluid and blood from 160 participants to identify immune system changes that may attack the nervous system. The goal is to uncover the biological mechanisms behind these side effects, which could lead to better prevention or treatment in the future.
