Brain scan study to detect hidden inflammation in silent artery disease

This study was designed to use a special PET scan to measure brain inflammation in people with asymptomatic carotid artery disease (narrowing of neck arteries without symptoms). It aimed to compare inflammation levels between those with high-grade and low-grade narrowing. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results were obtained.
