Nerve stretch study seeks pain clues in healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT06357715

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how a specific nerve-sliding exercise (called neurodynamic sliding mobilisation in the slump position) affects pain perception in healthy adults aged 30-65. Researchers will measure the pressure point where a sensation becomes painful, comparing the nerve-slide exercise to a regular movement. The goal is to understand the body's pain-modulation mechanisms, not to treat a disease. 54 volunteers who are new to these techniques will participate.
