ICU sleep disrupted by frequent brain checks?
NCT ID NCT05864300
Summary
This study aims to understand if checking brain function every hour versus every two hours affects sleep quality for patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers are observing 30 adults who had a procedure to treat a brain aneurysm. They will measure sleep using brain wave monitors and questionnaires to see which check schedule is less disruptive.
